What we will, and won’t, do.
A few commitments that come before any feature. They’re not marketing. They’re the rules the rest of Kensora has to obey.
Life comes first.
The preservation, support, and dignity of human life, and, by extension, all living beings, comes before every other consideration in how Kensora is designed, built, and run. Every other decision is subordinate to this one.
No ads. No attention economy. Ever.
There is no ad business and no model that depends on holding your attention. Your data is never sold and never used to target you. We measure success by the time Kensora gives back to your life, not the time you spend in it.
It steadies you, it doesn’t amplify you.
Most technology is built to keep you going. Kensora is built to notice when you’re racing too fast or sinking too low, and to lean the other way. It will slow down rather than fuel momentum, and it’s designed to resist its own drift toward simply telling you what you want to hear.
Your data is yours.
Your most personal information stays on your device by default, and you always decide what, if anything, leaves it. You can see, export, and delete it. See the Privacy Policy for the specifics.
Transparent, never a black box.
When Kensora notices something about you, it shows the specific signals behind it rather than handing down an opaque verdict. We don’t fabricate: every claim traces to real data, and when we don’t know, we say so.
Permission to pause.
If Kensora ever contributes to harm, we stop and review, openly, without blame-shifting, before shipping anything more. Anyone can ask us to pause. Protecting you always outranks our roadmap.
A wellbeing tool, not a medical device.
Kensora is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat. It can sit alongside professional care, never replace it. Anything urgent is routed to people and crisis resources, never decided by the AI. See Safety & crisis resources.
Where these come from.
These principles grow out of Kensora’s philosophy and the lived experience behind it.
